Table lamps are common household lighting tools. So, how should table lamps made of different materials be cleaned? Let's discuss this question below.

1. Fabric table lamps

First, use a small vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the surface. Then, pour some dishwashing liquid or furniture detergent onto a rag, replacing the cloth as you go. If the inside of the lampshade is made of paper, avoid using detergent directly to prevent damage.

2. Frosted glass table lamps

Carefully scrub with a soft cloth suitable for cleaning glass. Alternatively, scrub with a soft cloth dipped in toothpaste. For uneven areas, use a chopstick or toothpick wrapped around a soft cloth.

3. Resin lampshades

You can clean with a synthetic duster or a special duster. After cleaning, spray with anti-static spray, as resin materials are prone to static electricity.

4. Pleated lampshade table lamps

Patiently scrub area by area with a cotton swab dipped in water. If the area is particularly dirty, use a neutral detergent.

5. Crystal Beaded Table Lamp

Delicately crafted, it can be difficult to clean. If the lampshade is made of crystal beads and metal, clean it directly with a neutral detergent. After cleaning, wipe off any excess water and allow it to dry naturally in the shade. If the crystal beads are strung with string, it's best not to wet the string. Instead, scrub with a soft cloth dipped in neutral detergent. For dirt on the metal lamp base, first wipe off any dust, then apply a little toothpaste to a cotton cloth and scrub.
