How to Use a Table Lamp?
Table lamps are common household lighting tools. Here's how to use them.
1. Choose the Right Light Source
Select a table lamp with the appropriate brightness and color temperature. Generally speaking, reading and working require higher brightness and color temperature, while watching TV or relaxing requires lower brightness and color temperature.
2. Position
Position the table lamp away from your body to avoid eye strain and glare.
3. Adjust the Height
Place the table lamp at an appropriate height, roughly parallel to the surface of your books or work materials.
4. Avoid Glare
Place the table lamp in a location that doesn't reflect light to avoid glare and reflections.
5. Take Regular Breaks
After using a table lamp for extended periods, rest your eyes regularly. It's recommended to take a 5-10 minute break every 45 minutes, looking away from the screen or reading to allow your eyes to relax and rest.
6. Pay Attention to Safety
Do not use damaged bulbs or cords. Avoid placing table lamps near flammable items to avoid fire.
